Part Time - Lab Assistant

Role: Lab Assistant responsible for supporting laboratory operations at a regulated environment by performing routine procedures, specimen processing, storage, and maintenance activities. Key Duties Maintain laboratory glassware and organize suppliesClean and disinfect workstations and equipmentPrepare, label, sterilize, and store laboratory materialsSupport specimen storage, retrieval, and post-analysis storage processesAssist with equipment maintenance and simple buffer preparationsManage inventory and ensure workstation cleanlinessFollow safety, quality, and regulatory protocols, supporting workflow efficiency Qualifications & Skills High School Diploma or equivalent; some roles may require an associate degree in a laboratory science or related fieldMinimum 6 months of experience in a regulated lab environmentKnowledge of laboratory safety, infection control, sterilization, and waste managementBasic understanding of laboratory equipment, terminology, and chemical handlingStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and computer literacyAbility to establish effective working relationships and support laboratory proceduresPhysical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and perform close eye work Additional Qualities: Commitment to continuous learning, regulatory compliance, and maintaining a safe working environment.
