About this Position: As a Job Coach, you would provide one-on-one support to adults with developmental disabilities at various employment sites throughout Alameda County. Must have excellent organizational, communication, computer, teaching, and problem-solving skills. Must be able to work effectively as part of a team and independently. This job is a great way to gain experience in the non-profit sector, social work, social services, or education and tutoring. Supporting clients with: Maintaining professional relationships with coworkersOrganizing and prioritizing job tasksRequesting time off with managersPlanning a main route to work and alternate routesLearning new duties and tasksManaging stress on busy daysAnything else work-related your client might need support with! Schedule: This is a part-time position20-25 Hours Per weekMonday-Friday between the hours of 8:00AM - 6:00PMAdditional evening and weekend availability, as required by the department Locations: Working a caseload throughout Alameda County: Dublin, Pleasanton, LivermorePossession of a valid California driver's license, a driving record that meets agency standards, auto insurance, and access to a vehicle Compensation: $25.01 per hour.
