Primary Responsibilities
- Attend all scheduled safety, department, and company meetings as required.
- Follow and enforce company safety polices and safe work practices at all times to ensure safety of self and others.
- Maintain clean inside and outside work areas:
- Weed eat
- Mow
- Empty barrel and trash containers
- Maintain office floors, restrooms, and breakrooms
- Perform other janitorial services as needed.
- Operate equipment and tools for seasonal activities as necessary, mowers, weed eaters, forklifts.
- Inventories cleaning supplies and notifies appropriate personnel when re-orders are needed, being mindful of time allowance needed in ordering process.
- Immediately notify a supervisor for any equipment issues as occurrences happen.
Physical & Work Requirements
- Time split between office environment and warehouse/plant or yard.
- Working in a yard or warehouse/plant within OSHA guidelines; conditions may be heated and/or unheated, dusty and noisy; steel-toed boots required daily.
- Facility is a multiple shift operation.
- Must possess the ability to work a flexible schedule and be on-call at various times including possible weekends and holidays.
- Job is performed under some temperature extremes.
- Ability to stand, walk, or be mobile for up to 8 hours per shift.
- Capable of ascending and descending material handling equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to push, pull, or carry up to 50 lbs.
- Wear proper PPE at all times (as described in company policy).
