Part Time - IT Support Technician (Fully Onsite Role) (12 Hours Per Week)
This is a contract position based in Traverse City, MI, offering 12 hours per week on Tuesdays and Thursdays (11:00 AM – 5:00 PM). It is ideal for individuals looking to grow their IT career, whether transitioning from an internship, IT degree, or entry-level IT support role. Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience is preferred, and IT certifications are desirable.
About the role
This on-site position represents the company by delivering customer-focused, high-quality, and timely IT support to Traverse City employees. As the first point of contact for technical issues, you will provide classroom technology support, including but not limited to:
- Printer installations
- Laptop/desktop computer deployment
- New device troubleshooting
- Excellent customer service
Requirements
- Previous Helpdesk, Desktop Support, or PC Technician experience (preferred)
- IT certifications (desirable, e.g., CompTIA)
- Interest in growing within the company and advancing an IT career
Pay
The pay range for this position is $16.00 – $18.00 per hour.
