Part Time - Instrumental Ensemble (Jazz Ensemble/Concert Band) - Adjunct Instructor

Job Duties

• Direct one or two instrumental ensembles per semester.
• MUSIC 82 – Concert Band
• MUSIC 84/421 – Jazz Ensemble/Jazz Combo
• Be available to teach on campus on weekday evenings, 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
• Select an appropriate repertoire to be performed at an on-campus recital each semester.
• Be available for additional public/campus performance opportunities during the semester.
• Additional opportunities for teaching private lessons in their instrument(s) of expertise may be available.

Requirements and Qualifications

• MFA preferred.
• MA in a relevant field is required.
• Equivalent professional experience or training will be considered.
• Experience teaching at the college level is highly desirable.
