Part-time Instructor (Pool) - MSN Clinical

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Engage with students and preceptors throughout the semester
• Supervise students' clinical preceptorship experiences to ensure clinical outcomes and competencies are achieved
• Manage student progress
• Grade course assignments in a timely manner
• Actively engage with students online or by other methods

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Required Minimum Qualifications

• Master in the science of nursing (MSN)
• Licensure as an APRN and RN in Tennessee or compact state
• Current Family Nurse Practitioner Certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Current active practice as FNP with 3 years of experience
• A background search will be required of the successful applicant

The number of adjunct instructors hired varies from semester to semester, depending upon the needs of the department.
