Part-time Instructor - First Year Writing

Essential Functions

• Submitting syllabi at the start of the semester.
• Delivering lectures and/or facilitating activities designed to engage students at all class meetings.
• Assigning written coursework and grading in a timely manner, and providing ongoing feedback and final grading of students’ written work.

Additional Functions

• Availability outside of classroom hours is necessary for student conferences.

Prerequisite Qualifications

• Applicants should have an M.A. in English, MFA, or graduate degree in a related field.
• All teaching assignments entail face-to-face instruction.

Pay Information

In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the rate for this position is $2668 per contact hour (USD).
