About the role
The Department of Music at Southwestern University invites applications for a Part-time Instructor/Assistant Professor of Music beginning in August of 2026. The candidate will teach general music courses for non-majors as part of the University's General Education program. Requirements
- Master's degree in Music, with a D.M.A. or Ph.D. preferred
- Demonstrated teaching experience
Pay
$4,200 per course (terminal degree in-hand by August 1) or $3,900 per course (Master’s degree in-hand by August 1). Non-benefitted position.
