Position Summary
Teach two sections of trumpet for fall 2026:
- MUS 275-001 1 credit Performance Studies Brass: Trumpet
- MUS 275-002 2 credit Performance Studies Brass: Trumpet
- Teach two sections of trumpet
- Conduct rehearsals and performances
- Collaborate with colleagues and students
- Master's degree in Music Education or related field
- Proven teaching experience at the collegiate level
- Strong knowledge of trumpet performance and pedagogy
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for teaching and mentoring young musicians
- Experience with curriculum development and assessment
- Effective classroom management
- Ability to adapt to changing educational needs
- Strong organizational and time management skills
