Part-Time Instructional Assistant(Exam Proctor)

Graduate student position for part-time exam proctoring in the Office of the Assistant Dean for Curriculum and Teaching for Spring 2026. Positions are hourly and part-time; content knowledge related to individual courses is not required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor students during scheduled make-up exams, ensuring adherence to Penn State exam procedures and policies.
• Support evening exam operations within designated proctored testing rooms.
• Collect, transport, and return exams and quizzes to and from testing locations.

Requirements

• Must be a current graduate student at Penn State.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to maintain a professional and fair testing environment.

Pay

$15 per hour, approximately 2 to 3 hours per week.

Employment with the University will require successful completion of background check(s) in accordance with University policies.
