Part-Time, Long-Term Contract

Long-term contract part-time role based in Boston, Massachusetts.
About the role
A balanced background in employee support, administrative coordination, and benefits-related processes is ideal. The person in this role will contribute to a positive workplace experience by helping manage onboarding activities, maintaining accurate HR records, and assisting with day-to-day employee relations matters.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for HR operations, ensuring employee records, documentation, and administrative processes are handled accurately and on time.
- Assist with onboarding coordination by preparing hiring paperwork, tracking pre-employment steps, and helping new team members transition smoothly into the organization.
- Respond to employee questions related to HR policies, procedures, and general workplace concerns while escalating more complex matters when appropriate.
- Support benefits administration activities, including enrollment updates, employee communications, and coordination with applicable vendors or internal stakeholders.
- Maintain and update information within the HRIS to help ensure personnel data remains current, complete, and reliable.
- Partner with managers and employees to help address routine employee relations matters with professionalism, discretion, and consistency.
- Prepare HR reports, track required documentation, and help monitor compliance with internal standards and applicable employment practices.
Requirements
- Experience working in a Human Resources Generalist or similar HR support role.
- Working knowledge of employee relations practices and day-to-day HR administration.
- Background coordinating onboarding activities and new employee documentation.
- Familiarity with benefits-related processes, including employee support and record maintenance.
- Experience using HRIS platforms to enter, manage, and review employee information.
- Strong organizational skills with close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicate professionally and handle sensitive information with discretion.
