About the Role
Provides spiritual care and counseling to patients, families, and staff, supporting their spiritual needs in alignment with individual care plans and cultural beliefs. Coordinates with healthcare teams to assess, review, and revise spiritual care plans, administers sacraments, and respects diverse faith traditions. Promotes spiritual well-being through education, networking with community faith leaders, and encouraging participation in spiritual activities. Maintains accurate documentation and adheres to professional ethics and policies.
Requirements
- Master of Divinity or Theology from an accredited institution
- Preferred certification or credentialing as a chaplain and clinical pastoral education
- Extensive pastoral experience, hospice, and grief work training (advantageous)
- Active membership in a Christian denomination
- Ordination/licensing
- Valid driver’s license
