Part-Time Honey Bee Research Support

Part-time position supporting honey bee research, involving work with honey bees and honey in laboratory and field settings.

Responsibilities

• Conduct observations and experiments involving honey bees and/or honey
• Conduct laboratory and/or field assays and data collection
• Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and graduate students on research projects
• Maintain accurate records of experimental data and assist with data interpretation
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment in laboratory and/or field settings

Requirements

• Beekeeping experience preferred
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to work in laboratory and field settings
• Attention to detail and the ability to follow experimental protocols
• Skills using a computer including online meeting platforms, word processing software, spreadsheets, and other data-sharing methods

Schedule

Part-time, flexible hours (10-20 hours per week).
