About the role

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a Home Health Aide (HHA) to support patients in their homes. The role involves providing personal care, managing daily routines, communicating effectively, ensuring client safety, and documenting services.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks such as hygiene, feeding, and medication administration.
• Manage home environments by performing light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Communicate professionally with clients, families, and staff.
• Maintain client safety and ensure a safe living environment.
• Document services provided and report any changes in client condition or family situation.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Completion of competency testing for HHA.
• Valid drivers license and acceptable MVR.
• Valid CPR certification.
• Prior home health care or long-term care experience preferred.
