Home Health Certified Nursing Assistant CNA Part Time

About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Home Health Aide provide personal care, treatment procedures, and home management tasks under the guidance of a Registered Nurse. They are responsible for the daily needs of individuals with special needs, ensuring their comfort and safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform personal care tasks including assistance with hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring.
• Manage household tasks such as light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning.
• Plan and prepare meals, shop for groceries, and clean up after meals.
• Communicate with clients, family members, and staff in a professional manner.
• Maintain client safety and ensure a safe environment.
• Assist with medication administration (with proper training).
• Encourage self-help activities and report services provided and changes in client condition or family situation to the office.
• Maintain clinical record documentation according to company policies and regulations.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Completed the company's competency training for Home Health Aide.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• One year of Home Health Care or Long-Term Care experience preferred.
• Must comply with all health-related requirements, including required vaccinations and sign, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons as appropriate.
