About the role

The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Home Health Aide positions at Recover Health provide support to individuals with special needs in their homes. Responsibilities include personal care tasks, home management, communication, and ensuring client safety.

Responsibilities

  • Perform personal care tasks such as assisting with hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring.
  • Manage household tasks like light housekeeping, laundry, bed making, and cleaning.
  • Plan and prepare meals, shop for groceries, and clean up after meals.
  • Communicate with clients, their families, and the recovery health staff professionally.
  • Maintain client safety and ensure a safe environment.
  • Assist with self-administration of medications (with proper training).
  • Encourage self-help activities and report services provided and changes in client's condition or family situation to the office.
  • Document services and changes according to policy and regulations.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Completed the company's competency program for Home Health Aide.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable MVR.
  • One year of Home Health Care or Long Term Care experience preferred.
  • Compliance with health-related requirements including vaccinations and sign, subject to exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
