Part Time Home Care Registered Nurse (RN)

About the role

We currently have an immediate part-time job opening for an RN in our Erie, PA certified home health agency. This position is perfect for RNs looking to work around family schedules or for retired RNs not ready to leave the profession. The role offers flexible scheduling with 20-30 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Medication setups for home care clients
• Skilled nursing visits
• Dressing changes
• Medicare case openings
• Supervisory visits for aides and on-the-job training
• Medicaid and private duty case openings

Pay

• Medicaid 1-hour assessments and medication box setups: $37.00 per visit
• Medicare opening skilled cases: $75 per visit
• Medicare subsequent visits: $60 per visit

Requirements

• Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in Pennsylvania
• At least six months of experience as a professional nurse, or competent in knowledge and skills based on successful completion of the pre-employment nursing test and demonstration of skills
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Must meet health requirements
• Reliable transportation required

Schedule

Part-time, 20-30 hours per week. Flexible scheduling available.
