Part-Time Healthcare Specialist

Position Overview Join as a part-time adjunct instructor to teach in the Healthcare Specialist program, delivering in-person courses such as Medical Terminology with potential future courses like Customer Relations in Healthcare and Medical Law and Ethics. Responsibilities include creating engaging learning environments, delivering instruction per college policies, developing course materials, maintaining student records, and fostering positive student interactions. Qualifications Candidates must meet specific educational and professional criteria, including degrees, relevant work experience, or licensure in health sciences. For teaching Medical Terminology, a healthcare program standard, relevant coursework, or licensure is required. For other courses, a bachelor's degree, work experience, or licensure in health care is necessary. Compensation & Benefits Compensation is $46.75 per contact hour, with flexibility to teach 1-13 hours weekly.
