About the role
The Head Women's Swim Coach is responsible for the overall leadership and administration of the University of New England's varsity women's swimming program. Competing at the NCAA Division III level, the program is an affiliate member of the Little East Conference.
Responsibilities
- Directs all aspects of the swimming program, including coaching, recruitment, student-athlete development, compliance, and program operations.
- Fosters a culture that promotes a positive student-athlete experience, sportsmanship, and competitive excellence while ensuring full compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules, regulations, and policies.
Qualifications
- Previous competitive swimming and/or coaching experience, including knowledge of swimming techniques, training methods, and competition rules
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to plan and conduct practices, workouts, and meet preparation activities
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as needed
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or the ability to obtain certification upon hire)
Pay
An annual stipend of $18,000.
