Job Summary
This is a full time opportunity working Mon-Friday between hours of 1Pm to Close ( 6pm ).
Responsibilities
- Aid patients with the check in process for physical/hand therapy appointments.
- Verify services with insurance.
- Create a welcoming environment and maintain efficient communication with patients and providers.
- Provide and obtain necessary paperwork from patients for their orthopaedic appointment.
- Communicate with patients that may not be pleasant at times, yet are grateful for our guidance and assistance in getting them back to living.
- Sit at a desk for extended periods of time that may seem unnatural.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a medical front office position.
- A passion for patient well-being.
Qualifications
- Professional demeanor when interacting with patients and clinical staff members.
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized while handling multiple tasks at one time.
- Curiosity in practicing active listening, asking clarifying questions, and avoiding interruptions.
- Dependability in ensuring patients receive timely care and promoting a reliable healthcare environment.
