About the role
The Front Office Coordinator assists with greeting and receiving all customers, guests, and employees at the Mikron office. This position supports office operations, event planning, HR tasks, and administrative duties to ensure smooth daily functions.
Responsibilities
- Full support of the Mikron Denver office, including mail, shipping, inventory management, text-em-al system, key cards, name tags, office supplies, vendor deliveries, expense reports, and front desk phone calls.
- Assist with event planning for All Hands Employee meetings, off-site events, and team-building activities.
- Manage birthday and anniversary cards.
- Handle high-volume scheduling for catered events, customer and team lunches, and conference rooms while maintaining accuracy and effective communication.
- Learn and work effectively within business systems such as Concur, Envoy, Paylocity, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Partner with Finance, Human Resources, IT, and related teams on new hire onboarding and HR administrative tasks.
- Support coordination of international and domestic travel arrangements and company vehicle scheduling for visitors.
- Apply judgment to prioritize tasks, multitask with minimal direction, and seek assistance when needed.
- Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism when interacting with diverse personalities.
- Exercise discretion, confidentiality, and excellent judgment in all tasks.
- Assist with additional tasks as needed.

Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and possess a valid state driver’s license.
- 2+ years of office support or administrative assistant experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt communication style to the audience.
- Highly refined organizational skills, particularly in time management and scheduling.
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Capable of creating or modifying processes to improve efficiency.
- Must consistently work Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with occasional extra hours (not exceeding 29.5 hours per week).
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and departmental working instructions.
- Perform critical tasks satisfactorily within 3 months of hire with minimal supervision.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, typical of an office setting. Mikron Corporation Denver is a drug-free workplace.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 12:30 PM, with occasional extra hours (not exceeding 29.5 hours per week).
