Part-Time Front Desk Associate

Provide quality customer service and be a friendly, helpful team member to clients, vendors, and associates. This part-time role includes front desk and administrative duties assisting department managers.
Responsibilities
- Sit at the front desk for extended periods with a pleasant disposition to greet clients and guests cordially.
- Handle multiple functions simultaneously while maintaining composure.
- Answer incoming calls immediately, take clear messages, and deliver messages timely (verbally or in writing).
- Manage and distribute mail, packages, checks, and other business documents.
- Assist new and current residents with access fobs and vehicle gate remotes.
- Complete data entry into various company systems to support business needs.
- Ensure all guests are signed in and accompanied by a resident.
- Prepare and set up in-house meeting rooms.
- Occasionally close and lock the clubhouse at shift end.
- Maintain professionalism and avoid perpetuating rumors or innuendos that could affect staff morale or client relations.
- Understand and respect confidentiality policies, sharing information only with authorized personnel (e.g., General Manager).
- Work effectively with coworkers, clients, and others by listening, keeping commitments, and respecting diversity.
- Attend all mandatory company functions and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Perform other reception/lifestyle duties as assigned.
Pool Monitor Duties
- Ensure all guests are signed in and accompanied by a resident.
- Enforce pool rules, policies, and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to all patrons.
- Complete daily opening and closing procedures.
- Test pool water chemistry and maintain appropriate records, as applicable.
- Wipe down tables daily and ensure the pool area and bathrooms are free of trash.
- Set up and take down umbrellas when requested.
- Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
Skills & Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant, courteous, and professional demeanor, including professional attire.
- Maintain composure and professionalism when resolving problems, even with difficult individuals.
- Know when to seek assistance and maintain open communication with team members and supervisors.
- Provide timely, thorough, responsive, and proactive service to improve customer satisfaction.
- Represent the company knowledgeably and credibly, promoting a positive image.
- Address problems constructively to find mutually acceptable solutions.
- Demonstrate problem-solving abilities and take ownership of issues until resolution.
- Ability to "connect the dots" and resolve customer issues resourcefully.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to tailor communication to the audience.
- Proficient with computer programs such as Connect, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM.
- Develop and maintain solid knowledge of job-related procedures and policies.
- Continually expand job knowledge and skills.
- Maintain a positive attitude and remain resilient during challenging customer interactions.
- Work effectively with coworkers, clients, and vendors by sharing ideas constructively.
- Strong ethical practices.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods.
- Finger dexterity for typing, using a keyboard, and distributing mail/packages.
- Ability to hear and speak clearly to handle telephone calls and interact with clients.
- Mobility to move around the office for tasks such as making copies and distributing mail.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
Pay
$18–$18.50 per hour, commensurate with experience, education, and specific job responsibilities.
