Part-Time Formulator

Pay: $23.25 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential.

Schedule

This is a part-time role with flexible hours through our Flex Manufacturing Program. You can choose your schedule, typically working 16–29 hours per week, though this may vary by location.

About the Role

As a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, you will perform front-line production processes that add value and quality to raw materials, transforming them into final high-quality products. This includes operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product, and contributing to a member-owned co-op that is Rooted In Tomorrow. This role is part of our Omnium business, a trusted partner in manufacturing crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Responsibilities

• Comply with all safety processes and promote safe practices for yourself and others.
• Arrive on time, complete tasks by deadlines, and adapt quickly to changes.
• Multitask and keep pace with production demands in a fast-paced environment.
• Ensure all quality standards and standard operating procedures are followed during production.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of your work area.
• Follow instructions from leads and management to accomplish daily work assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6+ months of work experience in any industry.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve, and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills; always respectful.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience.
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience.

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing, and other active movements.
• Perform duties while wearing personal protective equipment.
• Work in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods, including areas where dust and chemicals may be present.
• Required to work scheduled shifts, which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime.
