Part Time Forklift Driver - 2nd Shift

About the role

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. operates a dynamic, fast-paced distribution network that connects factories to retail, online, and mail-order customers worldwide. Our Dayton, NJ Distribution Center is a vital hub in this network, handling returns and supporting our best-known home-furnishings brands.

Responsibilities

• Work with leadership to complete all manual and on-task assignments by the end of each shift.
• Perform daily picks for the Hub using the inventory management system.
• Move items based on orders, with or without power equipment, to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Complete staging and sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Load, unload, stack, and stage products using various types of power equipment (e.g., Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Turret).
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of aisles and work areas daily.
• Promote safety awareness and help cultivate a strong safety culture.
• Perform other duties as instructed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience operating Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, and Turret.
• Excellent attendance and a willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Willingness to be cross-trained and certified on all WSI DDC equipment (e.g., Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack).
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Physical Requirements

• Comfortable walking and standing 100% of the shift.
• Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs or ladders.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Pay

$19.00 – $20.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM (2nd shift)
