Part Time - Food Service Worker

About the role

This position involves preparing and serving meals and snacks to residents in a healthcare setting while ensuring adherence to safety, sanitation, and dietary policies.

Responsibilities

• In-kitchen preparation and cleaning tasks
• Assembling resident trays and delivering nourishments
• Maintaining a clean work environment through sweeping, mopping, and garbage removal

Requirements

• Ability to handle food safely and operate small kitchen equipment following safety guidelines
• Observance of HIPAA and facility policies
• Some high school education required
• Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, and a commitment to safety

Preferred qualifications

• Experience in healthcare kitchens
