Part Time Fleet Services Car Control Clerk

Key-result Areas

• Cook up the activities needed to make vehicles rental/sale ready such as inspections and registrations, and carry out these tasks.
• Inspect and register vehicles, and resolve cars improperly coded.
• Organize the staging of vehicles on the lot to ensure prompt action on vehicles based on their status, including scanning with mobile devices.
• Monitor non-rentable units (out of service) and fleet levels, collaborating with the Pool Fleet Manager to resolve status issues and get cars back on the road.
• Ensure all vehicles are marked with the Quadrant system and follow up on cars aging based upon window markings/No Rev reporting.
• Inventory vehicles and monitor asset control points, ensuring that the current fleet is properly managed.
• Add new asset tags to incoming new fleet and receive vehicles in EAM.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate transportation and car haulers, including scanning of Non-Revenue moves.
• Respond to emails, generate and review reports, close work orders, and attend conference calls.
• Manage administrative duties such as data entry, and perform other related tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience in the car rental industry preferred.
• Prior asset control experience preferred.
• Prior logistic or transportation experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with computers and tablets.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to navigate GPS mapping application and follow guided directions.

• Able to adapt and be flexible, able to quickly change direction and focus.
• Able to work autonomously and be self-starter.
• Able to work in inclement weather outdoors.
• Flexible for scheduling. This position will require nights, holidays, and / or weekends.

Benefits

Wages: $16.00 per hour.

Schedule

Split time between an office setting and outside.

$16.00 per hour.
