Part-Time Faculty: Theatre
About the role
The Theatre and Visual Arts Department at Fordham University periodically hires part-time, non-tenure-track (NTT) faculty to teach introductory and upper-division courses in areas such as Performance, Design and Production, Playwriting, and Directing. Part-time NTT instructors at Fordham are represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU), and certain terms of employment, including minimum per-course rates and details concerning benefits, are set by the Adjunct Faculty Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The Theatre Program serves a diverse student body at two campuses in New York City: the Lincoln Center Campus in Manhattan and the Rose Hill Campus in the Bronx. All classes would be taught in person at one of these two campuses, based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach up to, but not exceeding, two undergraduate courses per semester.
Qualifications
- Terminal degree in a relevant field.

Courses are taught in person at either the Lincoln Center Campus or the Rose Hill Campus, based on departmental needs.
