Part-Time Faculty - Sociology (SJC Online)

About the role

San Jac Online accepts applications for part-time faculty positions on a continuous basis. These positions are not current vacancies; applications are reviewed if openings become available. Instructors are hired on an "as needed" basis for the duration of specified courses and are assigned to teach using online delivery methods based on teaching area, student needs, and College requirements. All San Jac Online faculty must reside in the state of Texas. Part-time faculty are not entitled to all the rights, privileges, and benefits of regular, full-time employees.

Required Qualifications

• Master's Degree with eighteen (18) graduate hours in Sociology

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching Sociology coursework in higher education

Compensation

Salary Grade: AH. Salary is based on the Board-approved salary schedule for the current fiscal year.
