Part-Time Faculty: School of Business - Business Analytics & Information Systems

About the role

The Department of Business Analytics & Information Systems within the School of Business at Quinnipiac University is seeking highly qualified applicants for part-time faculty positions starting in Spring 2027.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate or graduate courses in Business Analytics or Computer Information Systems, on-ground, following department guidelines.
• Prepare and present active learning course content and engaging class activities.
• Compile, administer, and grade assessments (assignments, exams, projects) to evaluate student learning.
• Offer student support through office hours, responsive communication, and guidance on university resources.
• Ensure course content remains current and relevant, and comply with all university policies.

Education Requirements

• A doctorate in Business Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is preferred.
• Candidates with a master’s degree in one of these fields with relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching or training experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Demonstrated expertise in analytics, data management, programming, or related areas.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and Learning Management Systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
