Part-Time Faculty: School of Business - Finance

About the role

The Department of Finance within the School of Business at Quinnipiac University seeks a highly qualified part-time faculty member to teach undergraduate or graduate courses in Finance starting in Fall 2026.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned undergraduate or graduate courses in Finance following department guidelines.
• Prepare and present active learning course content and engaging class activities.
• Compile, administer, and grade assessments (assignments, exams, projects) to evaluate student learning.
• Offer student support through office hours, responsive communication, and guidance on university resources.
• Ensure course content remains current and relevant and comply with all university policies.

Education Requirements

• A doctorate in Finance, Economics, or related field is preferred.
• Candidates with an MBA or a master’s degree in one of these fields plus relevant work experience are also encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching or training experience, preferably at the collegiate level.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial management, financial modeling, financial analytics, or financial statement analysis.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with online teaching tools and Learning Management Systems.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
