PART TIME FACULTY POOL - CHEMISTRY

This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time (up to 67%), substitute, temporary, or hourly assignments on an as needed basis. Part-Time faculty applications will remain in the pool for one year. You will be contacted by the hiring manager should the department/division be interested in scheduling an interview. Departments will refer to the pool of applications on file, as needed, to fill temporary assignments. This recruitment may be used to fill future vacancies.

About the role

Assignments are at the discretion of the District. Master's in chemistry OR Bachelor's in chemistry or biochemistry AND Master's in biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical physics, physics, molecular biology or geochemistry OR the equivalent. Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse, academic, socio-economic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. Desired Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in teaching at the community college level.
