Part-Time Faculty: Physics

Responsibilities

Teach one or more sections of PHY101L (laboratory), PHY110 (lecture), or PHY110L (laboratory), in Fall 2026.

Offer a minimum of one regularly scheduled office hour per week per three contact hours.

Post assignments and assessments and manage grades through Canvas.

Education Requirements

A minimum of an MS degree in Physics or a related field is required; PhD preferred.

Qualifications

• Relevant teaching experience at the undergraduate level is preferred.
• Commitment to excellence in teaching.
• Experience in the use of instructional technologies, especially Canvas.
• Prominent ability to collaborate effectively with individuals from varied backgrounds.
