Responsibilities

The successful candidate will facilitate meaningful learning opportunities for the Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) coursework. Responsibilities include:

• Engaging in student-centered instruction to meet the evolving needs of the occupational therapy assistant field.
• Participating in regular availability for part-time appointments on an as needed, semester-by-semester basis.

Requirements

Minimum qualifications include:

• A degree in Occupational Therapy or OTA from an ACOTE Accredited College or University
• Nationally certified with NBCOT
• Currently licensed or regulated in the state of Missouri
• Current knowledge in areas of practice indicated by the program chair

Preferred qualifications include:

• At least two years of experience in instruction or formalized education process, preferably in a post-secondary or college institution
• Membership in a professional association tied to area of instruction preferred
