About the role

Applications for part-time faculty positions in the Teaching Millwright Courses in CPET Incumbent Worker Program are accepted continuously. These positions are not current vacancies.

Responsibilities

Teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location. Assignments may include evening and weekend classes as needed.

Requirements

• A (or higher level) degree in an appropriately relevant field AND five (5) years of relevant industry experience, OR
• Ten (10) years of industry experience in an appropriately relevant field, OR
• A licensure/Certification or relevant experience that would lead to the competencies required for successful performance of the position’s essential duties.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in relevant craft courses in higher education,
• Prior experience as a trainer for an employer in an appropriately relevant field,
• Certification/Licensure within specific area of instructional responsibility is desirable and may be required in some cases if applicable.
