About the role

Temple Beth Elohim is hiring Part-Time Educators & Senior Madrichim (Teaching Assistants) for their K–7 programs in Wellesley, MA. The position offers flexible scheduling options and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• BaDerech Program (Grades K–5)
• K–5 Classroom Teachers | Starting at $50.00/hour
• K–5 Senior Madrichim | Starting at $31.00/hour
• Schedule Options:
• Sundays: 8:45 AM – 10:45 AM and/or 11:15 AM – 1:15 PM
• Wednesdays: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Candidates can work one, two, or all available shifts)
• B’Yachad Program (Grades 6–7)
• Lead Middle School Teachers | Starting at $50.00/hour
• Schedule Options:
• Sundays: 11:15 AM – 1:15 PM
• Wednesdays: 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Candidates can work Sunday, Wednesday, or both)

Requirements

• Experience: Background working with children/youth in a religious school, classroom, summer camp, tutoring, babysitting, or informal educational setting (middle schoolexperience preferred for B’Yachad).
• Skills: Strong communication, youth engagement skills, and the ability to facilitate interactive learning.
• Traits: Enthusiastic, dependable, creative, and passionate about fostering an inclusive learning environment.
