Part-time Faculty, Honors College

About The Role

The Honors College at NKU is seeking part-time adjunct faculty. Faculty members will teach honors courses. These positions report to the Associate Dean of the Honors College.

Duties

• Teach between three and nine hours (1-3 classes) of college writing and/or reading per semester.
• Provide support to students through office hours.
• Align assignments and curriculum with programmatic and university student learning outcomes.

Preferred Education And Skills

• Master’s or PhD
• Experience teaching writing/reading and/or working with first-year college students
• Experience with interdisciplinary research and learning

Pay

The pay for a three-credit course varies slightly based on years of experience and education but is projected to be between $2700 and $3000 per three-credit course.
