Responsibilities

• teach courses in Science
• plan and deliver curriculum in classrooms, laboratories, and/or practicums
• ensure that students acquire essential skill sets and objectives stated in departmental course outlines
• provide meaningful, assessment-based instruction so students may be observed and evaluated
• monitor students' progress
• keep grade records
• provide relevant assessment data to the department on time
• use appropriate terminology and technology to communicate with students and provide academic support
• comply with the College's policies and procedures
• maintain a positive and professional learning environment for students

Requirements

• conferred master's degree within the applicable field of study (minimum qualification)
• additional qualifications and certifications may be required for specific courses
• all degrees must be from accredited colleges/universities

Skills

• experience teaching and using learning management systems
• experience using email
• experience using video conferencing systems
• proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
