Basic Functions
This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty (up to 67%) or temporary substitute assignments on an as-needed basis. Applications are accepted continually. Departments or divisions will refer to the pool of applications on file to fill temporary assignments as needed. Applicants will remain in the pool for 12 months.

Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications:
- Any bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional experience, OR
- Any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience, OR
- The equivalent.
- Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
- Some specialized courses may require specific certificates (must meet minimum content requirements specified by outside/other agencies based on accreditation).
Minimum qualifications are guided by the Academic Affairs Division of the Chancellor's Office, California Community Colleges. For equivalency qualifications, review the Faculty Equivalency Qualifications process. Submit requests for equivalency only if your education and/or experience differ but are equivalent to the stated minimum qualifications.
