Part-Time Faculty, Construction Management

About the role

The Department of Civil Engineering, Construction Management and Environmental Engineering (CECMEE), within the Steve Sanghi College of Engineering, invites applications for a Part Time Faculty position in the Construction Management (CM) Program.

Responsibilities Include

• Teaching undergraduate level courses
• Delivering exams
• Supervising students
• Grading student work

Minimum Qualifications

• M.S. in construction management, architecture business administration or civil engineering, or B.S. in construction management, architecture, civil engineering and 5+ years of engineering or construction management experience
• A combination of related education, experience, and training may be used as an equivalent to the above Minimum Qualifications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated evidence of teaching effectiveness
• 5+ years of engineering experience
• Ph.D. or EdD
• Registered Professional Engineering (P.E.) or other Professional Certifications

Compensation

Anticipated compensation is $2,000 per credit unit or $6,000 per three-credit course. Commensurate with candidate's qualifications and related experience.
