About the role
This is a continuous recruitment for an applicant pool to fill part-time faculty (up to 67%) or temporary substitute assignments on an as-needed basis. Applications are accepted continually, and departments will refer to the pool as needed to fill temporary assignments. Applicants remain in the pool for 12 months.

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Any bachelor's degree and two (2) years of professional experience, OR
- Any associate degree and six (6) years of professional experience, OR
- Equivalent combination of education and experience.
Desired Trades: Building Codes/Inspections, Masonry, Carpentry, Photovoltaics, Electrical, Plumbing, Heating and Air Conditioning/Refrigeration, Woodworking/Woodturning.
Qualification Options:
- Option 1: Associate degree and six (6) years of experience.
- Option 2: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of experience.
- Option 3 (Work Experience): A combination of coursework and work experience in the vocational area may meet minimum qualifications:
- 45 semester units + 8 years' experience
- 30 semester units + 10 years' experience
- 15 semester units + 12 years' experience
- 0-14 semester units + 15 years' experience
Must have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
