Don Johnson Auto Group is looking for a skilled Part-Time Facilities Maintenance Technician to help maintain and improve our dealership facilities throughout Northwest Wisconsin. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in quality work, and wants to use their skills without a full-time schedule. Priorities can change quickly, so we're looking for someone who can work independently, manage competing needs, and make good decisions about what needs attention first. What You'll Do Diagnose and complete facility repairs and maintenancePerform general carpentry, drywall, painting, plumbing, lighting, doors, hardware, and other building repairsComplete preventive maintenance and identify problems before they become bigger issuesPrioritize multiple requests based on safety, urgency, and business impactComplete projects independently from start to finishTravel between dealership locations as needs ariseCoordinate outside contractors when specialized work is requiredMaintain safe, clean, and organized work areasCommunicate progress, changing timelines, and material needsAssist with facility improvements and seasonal maintenance What We're Looking For You don't need to know everything. You do need to be skilled, dependable, and resourceful. Successful Candidates Will Have hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, construction, property maintenance, or the skilled tradesBe comfortable troubleshooting and solving problems independentlyProduce quality work they are proud to put their name onStay productive without constant supervisionOrganize competing priorities and follow through on commitmentsBe flexible when schedules and priorities changeCommunicate well when timelines or needs changeBe trustworthy and dependableWork safely and use good judgmentHave a valid driver's license and acceptable driving recordBe able to safely perform the physical duties of facility maintenance, including lifting and ladder use Experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, mechanical systems, or commercial facilities is a plus. Trade certifications are welcome but aren't required. Demonstrated ability, judgment and work ethic matter more to us than the perfect résumé.
