Part-time Evening Concierge (Saturday & Sunday, 3-11PM)

About the role

As our Evening Concierge, you will take over after the first concierge shift of the day and close out pending tasks. You’ll be the first person people see as they walk into the building and the first voice they hear when they call in. This shift is usually busiest at the start of shift and quiets down towards the end. You're the go-to person for everyone in the building and the glue that keeps the community together.

Responsibilities

• Greet incoming guests and residents, including their pets, and assist them as needed.
• Answer incoming calls, determine how you can help, and transfer them to the appropriate person or take down information for after-hours requests.
• Log packages, conduct audits to ensure delivery, and handle drop-offs to residents' doors upon request.
• Assist residents with emergencies (e.g., lockouts), requests (e.g., reservations, guest parking passes), or concerns (e.g., noise complaints).
• Respond to and coordinate service requests with the maintenance team within 24 hours; follow up with residents to ensure satisfaction.
• Plan and execute resident social events, often following a monthly theme, to foster community engagement.
• Assist the office team with administrative tasks, offering a learning opportunity for those aspiring to become a leasing consultant.

Requirements

• Attendance at Dweck’s New Hire Orientation is required (second Monday of each month, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM at Headquarters in Washington, DC). This is a fully paid day.
• Experience in a customer service role (e.g., hospitality, retail, or property management) is preferred but not required—training is available.
• Ability to sit or stand for long periods and lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
