Role Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Provide age-specific, developmentally appropriate nursing care ensuring patient comfort and safety
- Accurately document patient information in medical records
- Monitor and record patient signs, symptoms, and behaviors
- Propose revisions to care interventions and outcomes
- Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality
- Follow physician orders and deliver nursing care accordingly
- Collect lab samples, perform tests, and adhere to safety and infection control protocols
- Manage admission, discharge, and transfer procedures
- Participate in care planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Prepare equipment and assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures
Additional Duties
Perform quality assessments and attend meetings
Qualifications & Skills
- Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred
- Current RN license without sanctions
- At least 2 years of ER or comparable experience
- Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS; ENPC or TNCC preferred
- Fluent in English, with strong communication skills
- For Pennsylvania candidates: background clearances within 5 years or prior to start
