Part Time Environmental Services Technician (Night Shift)

Role Overview: The Housekeeper – Environmental Services Technician ensures cleanliness and safety within hospital areas, supporting infection prevention and compliance standards. Responsibilities: Performing comprehensive cleaning of patient rooms, restrooms, and specialty areas like operating rooms and labs, following strict protocols.Handling waste, recyclables, and regulated materials safely and correctly, including the use of UV light devices and container replacements.Maintaining environmental hygiene by cleaning walls, floors, furniture, and equipment using appropriate techniques.Adhering to infection prevention protocols, proper PPE use, and safety procedures to protect staff and patients.Providing excellent customer service, interacting positively with staff, patients, and visitors.Participating in team projects, documentation, and performance improvement initiatives.Utilizing the Epic system to manage patient bed flow and documentation. Qualifications & Skills: High School Diploma or GED preferred.Certifications required upon hire, with training completed within 30 days.Some experience preferred.Fluent English reading, writing, and comprehension skills.Ability to follow instructions, work safely, and demonstrate good interpersonal skills.
