Responsibilities

As an Environmental Services Technician, you'll help maintain the cleanliness, safety, and infection-control standards throughout our healthcare facilities. Your duties will include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing patient care areas, offices, common spaces, and restrooms
  • Vacuuming, dusting, mopping, disinfecting, and maintaining floors, carpets, and furniture
  • Supporting infection prevention efforts throughout the facility
  • Collecting and properly disposing of biohazard materials
  • Transporting linens and waste materials
  • Stocking restrooms, hand sanitizers, and facility supplies
  • Responding to urgent cleaning and sanitation needs
  • Maintaining a welcoming, professional environment for patients and visitors

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Minimum six (6) months of janitorial, housekeeping, or cleaning experience
  • Valid Washington State Driver License, current vehicle liability insurance, and ability to maintain a satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to work around contagious illnesses, biohazards, and cleaning chemicals

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $21.52 - $23.67 per hour.

Schedule

The anticipated schedule for this position is full-time, Monday - Friday, 4:45PM - 1:15AM.
