Responsibilities

• Greet each guest and scan their ticket
• Hand out samples to guests prior to their entrance onto the station platform
• Responsible for staging and seating guests in the HGCE experience theatre
• Hand out candy to guests upon exit
• Clean the areas to maintain ambience
• Absorb guests into the station with scanning tickets and distributing samples
• Assist guests into the theatre as well as distribute candy bags after show

• Willing to listen to our guests and help them with their needs

• Maintain a neat appearance and meet the uniform standards
• Be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 25 pounds
• Be able to walk or stand for 5-8 hours
• Ability to bend, stoop, and twist
• Pushing wheelchairs may be required
• Be able to interact with and speak clearly to a large audience
• Be able to clean up station and theater areas (trash, lost and found items, sweeping the floor, cleaning seats, and returning empty sample carts/obtaining filled carts)
• Communicate effectively with guests, fellow coworkers, and function effectively as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred but not required
• Public speaking experience is preferred but not required

Skills

The position requires a focus on exceptional customer service and expects the individual to be approachable; courteous; knowledgeable about our products; able to clearly communicate with guests and answer any questions that the guests have. Must be able to proficiently read, write, and speak English.

Part-time position located in Hershey, Pennsylvania, with work hours being primarily in the summer and the fall.
