Part - Time Employment & Education Specialist - QMHP

Job Summary:

RA1SE is a community based program that works with individuals ages 15-30 who have experienced a first episode of psychosis. The Employment & Education Specialist is a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) who provides employment skills training to individuals diagnosed with serious mental illness who may also have co-occurring substance use disorders, chronic health conditions, and/or IDD. The Employment & Education Specialist participates in diagnostic evaluation, completes assessment, and collaborates with individuals to define and facilitate desired life outcomes utilizing a recovery based and trauma-informed perspective.

Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions fostering skills necessary to manage symptoms, obtain/maintain employment, or housing, or help obtain services such as school, medical care, nutritional assistance, financial assistance, transportation, legal assistance, and other resources to fulfill needs.

• Services are typically provided in the community.
• May require a flexible work schedule.

Requirements

• Current and valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Experience in Human/Behavioral/Social Services preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor's degree with a major specialization in Human/Behavioral/Social Services or related field.

Pay

$24.18 - $25.4 an hour based on education.

Part-Time. Workdays: Monday-Friday. Workhours: Varies.
