Role Overview
Seeking motivated healthcare individuals, including EMTs, nursing assistants, and students, to serve as Emergency Department Technicians (ED Tech).
Responsibilities
- Assisting patients with activities of daily living and mobility
- Collecting vital signs
- Performing specimen collection and EKGs
- Supporting routine procedures
- Ensuring patient safety
- Communicating effectively with patients and staff
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or GED required; healthcare diploma preferred
- Experience in patient care, familiarity with medical terminology, and certifications like BLS required; CNA or EMT certification highly preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and routine task performance skills
- Ability to interpret technical documents and perform basic math applicable to patient care
- De-escalation training annually
