Part-Time Emergency Department Technician

Role Overview

Serving as Emergency Department Technicians (ED Tech) in a Magnet-recognized healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with hygiene, mobility, and safety as per care plans
• Document vital signs, perform specimen collection, and support routine procedures
• Monitor and report patient safety concerns
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma or GED; healthcare diploma preferred
• Experience in patient care, EMT, or CNA highly valued
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; CNA or EMT preferred
• Effective communication, customer service, and ability to follow directions
• Familiarity with medical terminology and basic math skills
