Part-Time Emergency Department Technician

About the role

Assist physicians, nurses, and advanced practitioners in providing emergency and minor emergency care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment at a Level III Trauma Center and certified Stroke Center. The role supports comprehensive care for diverse patient populations, including pediatric to geriatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient procedures and treatments
• Support care plans under the direction of medical staff

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Qualifications

Preferred candidates have one or more of the following:

• EMT-B certification or military hospital corps training
• Current enrollment in a relevant clinical program
• Prior Emergency Department Technician experience within the last two years
